Love Is Lived in Ordinary Moments
Love is often imagined through major moments—commitments, celebrations, trips, milestones, and promises. Those moments matter, but relationships are mostly lived somewhere smaller: in a thoughtful answer, a shared joke after a long day, a respected boundary, or the return after distraction or disconnection.
Over time, stress, parenting, work, health concerns, and changing seasons can crowd out the friendship that brought two people together. Partners may still love one another deeply while most of their conversations become about schedules, tasks, or problems.
Go Steady With Your Love helps you create realistic ways to keep noticing, knowing, enjoying, and choosing one another in the life you actually live.
Connection does not require constant availability or closeness. It grows when partners move toward one another while respecting capacity, individuality, boundaries, and choice.
You do not have to wait until your relationship is in distress to invest in it.
This course may be a good fit for you if:
You love one another but sometimes feel more like roommates or household managers.
Most of your conversations revolve around schedules, parenting, responsibilities, or problems.
You want more warmth, appreciation, play, affection, or meaningful time together.
You sometimes miss one another’s bids for connection—or one partner carries most of the responsibility for initiating it.
You want realistic connection ideas that fit your time, energy, finances, and season of life.
You want to strengthen both teamwork and individuality.
You want simple rituals that protect connection from daily demands.
You want to strengthen what is already good in your relationship—not only focus on what is going wrong.
You do not need to be free of conflict to benefit. You do need enough safety, freedom, and mutual willingness to participate without pressure.
What Strengthening Everyday Connection Can Help You Do
Keep learning who your partner is becoming rather than relying on old assumptions.
Recognize and respond to bids for connection without treating every unavailable moment as rejection.
Create conversations that move beyond logistics and problem-solving.
Express appreciation and build affection in ways that feel genuine, consensual, and respectful.
Create fun, dates, and shared experiences that fit your current capacity.
Balance shared connection with individual interests and identities.
Strengthen teamwork around household, family, and relationship responsibilities.
Build rituals, shared meaning, and a realistic plan for sustaining everyday connection.
The course plan intentionally emphasizes small, repeatable practices rather than expensive dates, constant novelty, or one prescribed version of a healthy relationship.
THE CENTRAL MODEL
The Steady Connection Rhythm
Connection is built in ordinary moments—not only in big conversations.
Notice → Reach → Respond → Enjoy → Return
The Steady Connection Rhythm helps couples notice opportunities for connection, reach more clearly, respond with greater intention, enjoy the connection they create, and find their way back when a moment is missed.
Connection doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. What matters is having ways to keep reaching and returning.

Created by Angie Bledsoe, LMFT
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples. My work focuses on helping couples understand the patterns that shape connection—and build practical ways of responding differently.
Go Steady With Your Love grew from seeing that relationships need more than conflict-management skills. Couples also need practical ways to stay curious about one another, share responsibility, enjoy each other, and protect connection through busy seasons.
The goal is not to create a perfect or impressive relationship. It is to help you build one that feels known, responsive, mutual, supportive, alive, and aligned with your values.

Learn Together— or Begin on Your Own
Go Steady With Your Love is designed for couples to move through together, but both partners do not have to begin at the same time.
Working through the course together allows you to compare preferences, recognize one another’s bids, create shared rituals, and build a connection plan. One partner may also begin individually and use the material to better understand how they reach, respond, express appreciation, and contribute to the relationship.
Each partner can move at their own pace and choose what to reflect on privately, what to share, and which practices fit their current season and capacity.
One person can influence connection, but cannot independently sustain mutual friendship, responsiveness, teamwork, or intimacy.
One purchase includes course access for both partners within the same household.
Relationship Education, Not Therapy
Go Steady With Your Love provides relationship education, guided reflection, and practical enrichment tools. It is not psychotherapy, crisis intervention, trauma or abuse treatment, sex therapy, betrayal treatment, or a substitute for professional care or safety planning.
This course is not appropriate when there is ongoing coercion, intimidation, violence, sexual pressure, active deception, repeated boundary violations, or fear of retaliation. Positive relationship practices cannot make unsafe behavior safe or replace needed accountability.
Each partner should be free to choose whether and how to participate, express boundaries, decline affection or activities, and communicate without punishment or retaliation.
Connection is invited, not demanded. A bid may receive a yes, a no, negotiation, an alternative, or a reliable return. Affection and intimacy require consent, and neither partner is responsible for carrying the entire relationship.
