Terms of Use

Effective Date: September 9, 2026

Welcome to Steady Love.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Steady Love websites, courses, educational materials, downloads, videos, worksheets, companion guides, emails, and other products or services offered by Steady Love Co. (“Steady Love,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By purchasing a product, creating an account, accessing a course, or using Steady Love materials, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Steady Love website, courses, or materials.

1. Steady Love Provides Relationship Education, Not Psychotherapy

Steady Love courses provide relationship education, guided reflection, skills practice, and educational tools designed to help adults better understand themselves, their relationships, and recurring relational patterns.

Steady Love courses are not psychotherapy.

Purchasing, accessing, or completing a Steady Love course does not create a therapist-client relationship with Angie Bledsoe, LMFT, Steady Love Co., or any other clinician associated with Steady Love.

Course participation does not include:

  • individualized diagnosis or treatment;

  • psychotherapy or trauma therapy;

  • clinical assessment;

  • crisis intervention;

  • individualized safety planning;

  • medical or psychiatric care;

  • legal advice;

  • custody or forensic evaluation; or

  • professional determination regarding whether a relationship should continue.

Educational examples, questions, worksheets, or exercises should not be interpreted as individualized clinical recommendations.

If you need psychotherapy or individualized mental health care, please seek services from a qualified professional who can evaluate your specific circumstances.

2. Course Participation Is Voluntary

You are responsible for deciding which course activities are appropriate for you.

You are never required to:

  • disclose private information;

  • reveal trauma or relationship experiences;

  • share completed worksheets with a partner;

  • participate in a partner exercise;

  • complete every reflection;

  • forgive someone;

  • reconcile;

  • restore trust;

  • remain in a relationship; or

  • progress into deeper relationship material.

You may pause, skip, modify, keep an exercise private, remain with individual reflection, set a boundary, or seek additional support.

More disclosure is not more progress. Deeper is not automatically better.

3. Partner Participation Is by Free Choice

Some Steady Love exercises offer optional partner conversations or shared practice.

Shared participation should occur only when each person freely chooses to participate and has sufficient capacity to do so.

Either person may pause, decline, or end a conversation.

Participation in a course does not create an obligation for a spouse or partner to:

  • disclose feelings or experiences;

  • answer questions;

  • provide reassurance;

  • accept an apology;

  • forgive;

  • resume physical or sexual intimacy;

  • restore access or trust;

  • reconcile; or

  • continue the relationship.

A partner's “no,” “not now,” or decision not to participate should be respected.

Vulnerability is chosen—not extracted.

4. The Cycle Does Not Erase Individual Responsibility

Steady Love teaches that partners can become caught in recurring interaction patterns or Protective Cycles.

Understanding a relational pattern can provide useful context. It does not mean that each person caused equal harm or carries equal responsibility.

Responsibility for specific behavior remains individual.

Relationship-cycle language should never be used to minimize, excuse, or equalize conduct involving coercion, intimidation, violence, sexual pressure or coercion, retaliation, stalking, threats, blocked exits, severe control, ongoing deception, an active affair, or other significant harmful behavior.

Understanding is not excusing.

Safety and accountability take priority over mutual vulnerability or relationship repair.

5. Some Relationship Experiences Are Not Appropriate for Self-Guided Partner Work

Steady Love courses include tools for working with ordinary relational patterns, everyday ruptures, connection, hurt, and other relationship experiences.

Some situations require a different level of support.

Self-guided partner exercises may not be appropriate when there is:

  • violence or fear of violence;

  • coercive control;

  • intimidation or threats;

  • sexual coercion or pressure;

  • fear of retaliation for speaking honestly;

  • stalking;

  • severe control or monitoring;

  • ongoing deception that materially affects informed choice;

  • an ongoing affair or similar active relational injury;

  • severe emotional destabilization;

  • significant substance-related impairment;

  • an immediate mental health crisis; or

  • another condition that makes free, informed participation unreliable.

A worksheet, readiness check, course lesson, or educational framework cannot determine or establish that a relationship is safe.

If safety is uncertain, seek individualized professional or safety-focused support rather than relying on a course to make that determination.

6. Addressing Hurt and Deeper Relationship Material

Certain Steady Love courses address relationship hurt at increasing depths.

These courses are designed to help learners organize and understand relationship experiences, consider responsibility and impact, identify boundaries and credible behavioral change, and make informed decisions about what type of response or support may be appropriate.

They are not designed to guide learners through trauma-memory processing or to guarantee the resolution of a relational injury.

Course participation does not guarantee:

  • healing;

  • closure;

  • forgiveness;

  • reconciliation;

  • restored trust;

  • restored intimacy;

  • relationship continuation; or

  • any particular emotional or relational outcome.

Learners should work with manageable material and stop or seek additional support if an exercise becomes repeatedly destabilizing, overwhelming, frightening, or unsafe.

7. Sexual and Physical Intimacy Education

Some Steady Love courses may discuss affection, physical closeness, sexual intimacy, desire differences, consent, rejection, pressure, and relationship patterns involving sexuality.

Educational discussion of intimacy never creates entitlement to another person's body, affection, sexual activity, or physical contact.

Consent must remain freely given and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

A partner's emotional need for closeness deserves understanding; another person's body is not the required solution to that need.

Steady Love course participation should never be used to pressure someone into physical or sexual contact.

8. Crisis and Emergency Situations

Steady Love is not a crisis service and Thinkific is not monitored as a clinical communication platform.

Do not use course comments, worksheets, forms, emails, or other Steady Love educational features to request emergency assistance.

If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger, contact emergency services or an appropriate local crisis resource.

If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, self-harm risk, domestic violence, sexual violence, or another urgent mental health or safety concern, seek immediate assistance from qualified local resources rather than relying on course materials.

9. Relationship Education and Existing Therapy

Using a Steady Love course does not replace treatment recommendations made by your therapist, physician, psychiatrist, or other qualified professional.

If you are currently in individual or couples therapy, you may choose to discuss course exercises with your clinician before using emotionally deeper material.

A clinician may reasonably recommend that you:

  • modify an exercise;

  • complete it individually;

  • postpone partner practice;

  • approach the material in therapy instead; or

  • not use a particular exercise.

Steady Love does not override individualized professional judgment.

10. Angie Bledsoe's Professional Role

Angie Bledsoe is a licensed marriage and family therapist.

Her professional background informs the educational framework used in Steady Love courses.

However, her role as the creator or instructor of Steady Love educational products does not make course participants her psychotherapy clients.

If someone separately receives psychotherapy services from Angie Bledsoe or another Steady Love clinician, that clinical relationship is distinct from the person's use of Steady Love educational products and is governed by separate clinical documentation, consent, privacy, and professional requirements.

11. Educational Results Are Not Guaranteed

People, relationships, circumstances, and levels of readiness differ.

Testimonials, examples, illustrations, educational scenarios, or descriptions of possible benefits are not guarantees that you will experience the same result.

Steady Love does not guarantee that using a course will:

  • stop conflict;

  • improve a relationship;

  • prevent separation or divorce;

  • restore trust;

  • increase intimacy;

  • change a partner's behavior; or

  • produce any particular emotional or relational outcome.

You remain responsible for your decisions and actions.

12. Account Eligibility

Steady Love courses are intended for adults.

By creating an account or purchasing a course, you represent that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.

Steady Love educational courses are not designed for children or minors unless a product expressly states otherwise.

13. Accounts and Login Information

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login information.

Do not give your login credentials to people who are not authorized to access the product.

If a Steady Love product expressly includes access for two partners or members of the same household, that access is limited to the people and use described in the product offer and remains subject to applicable platform requirements.

Purchasing household access does not give one partner permission to access another person's private responses, email, account information, or personal materials without permission.

14. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all Steady Love materials are owned by or licensed to Steady Love Co., including:

  • course videos;

  • written lessons;

  • Steady Love Method language and frameworks;

  • Protective Cycle and Connective Cycle teaching materials;

  • PAUSE, SAVE, Self-SAVE, Taking Turns, and related educational materials;

  • worksheets and fillable PDFs;

  • companion guides;

  • course visuals and diagrams;

  • downloadable resources;

  • audio materials;

  • graphics;

  • branding;

  • written articles;

  • email content; and

  • other original educational materials.

Your purchase gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials for your own personal relationship education.

Purchasing a course does not transfer copyright or ownership of the materials to you.

15. You May Not Redistribute or Resell Course Materials

Without prior written permission from Steady Love, you may not:

  • reproduce substantial portions of a course;

  • upload course materials to another website or platform;

  • distribute worksheets publicly;

  • sell, license, sublicense, or commercially distribute materials;

  • share course videos or files with people outside the access permitted by your purchase;

  • create derivative courses, trainings, workbooks, or products from Steady Love materials;

  • remove copyright, branding, attribution, or proprietary notices;

  • record or republish course videos;

  • use course content to train an AI model or commercial content-generation system; or

  • represent Steady Love materials as your own work.

You may download and print resources for your personal use as permitted by the course.

16. Professionals Using Steady Love Materials

Unless Steady Love has expressly granted a professional-use license, purchasing an individual Steady Love course does not authorize therapists, coaches, educators, clergy, group leaders, organizations, or other professionals to reproduce or distribute course materials to clients, groups, students, or participants.

A professional may personally learn from a publicly available Steady Love course, but commercial or clinical distribution of copyrighted worksheets, videos, or teaching materials requires separate permission or licensing where applicable.

17. Community Areas, Comments, and Voluntary Submissions

If Steady Love provides comments, discussion areas, communities, surveys, or other interactive features, participation is voluntary.

These areas should not be treated as confidential psychotherapy spaces.

Do not post information that you do not want other authorized participants or platform administrators to see.

Please avoid posting identifying, private, or sensitive information about a spouse, partner, child, client, employer, or another third party without appropriate permission.

You remain responsible for what you voluntarily submit.

We may remove content that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, unlawful, misleading, infringing, or inconsistent with the educational purpose of the platform.

18. Respectful Use

You agree not to use Steady Love services to:

  • harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate another person;

  • pressure a partner into disclosure, affection, sex, forgiveness, or reconciliation;

  • impersonate another person;

  • interfere with the website or course platform;

  • attempt unauthorized access to another person's account;

  • distribute malware or harmful code;

  • infringe another person's intellectual property rights; or

  • engage in unlawful activity.

We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated misuse.

19. Purchases and Payment

Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and may change in the future.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information.

Payments may be processed by Thinkific or third-party payment processors. Those providers may have additional terms that apply to payment processing.

Unless otherwise stated, changes to future prices do not alter a completed purchase.

20. Refunds and Satisfaction Guarantees

Refund eligibility is governed by the refund or satisfaction guarantee displayed on the product page or at checkout at the time of purchase.

If a product is advertised with a 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee, the terms of that offer displayed at purchase apply.

To request an eligible refund, contact:

hello@steadylove.co

within the applicable period.

Any exclusions or special refund rules disclosed before purchase will also apply.

21. Course Access Period

Course access lasts for the period stated on the product page at the time of purchase.

If a course provides 24 months of access, access begins according to the terms displayed at purchase.

Steady Love may update, revise, replace, or reorganize course material during the access period to improve accuracy, safety, usability, or educational quality.

We may also discontinue obsolete features or resources.

Reasonable efforts will be made not to materially reduce the educational value of a purchased course during the promised access period.

22. Technology and Availability

Steady Love uses third-party technology providers, including Thinkific, to provide course access.

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of:

  • platform maintenance;

  • internet outages;

  • security issues;

  • third-party service interruptions;

  • software updates; or

  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to restore access when problems within our control occur.

23. Third-Party Resources

Courses may reference books, websites, organizations, research, apps, clinicians, crisis resources, or other third parties.

A reference or link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, partnership, or guarantee regarding that third party.

Steady Love is not responsible for third-party products, services, privacy practices, availability, or content.

24. No Professional Relationship With a Learner's Partner

A Steady Love course may be purchased or used by one or both partners.

Steady Love does not act as an arbitrator or determine:

  • who is right;

  • whose memory is correct;

  • who is more responsible;

  • whether a relationship is safe;

  • whether forgiveness is warranted;

  • whether trust should return; or

  • whether partners should remain together.

Course tools should not be used as proof that one partner's interpretation is professionally endorsed by Steady Love or Angie Bledsoe.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Steady Love Co. and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and content creators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of Steady Love educational products.

You understand that relationship decisions and interpersonal actions remain your responsibility.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

26. Disclaimer of Warranties

Steady Love products are provided on an “as available” and educational basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not make warranties that:

  • a course will meet every learner's needs;

  • information will be appropriate for every relationship;

  • participation will produce a particular result;

  • all course features will always be uninterrupted; or

  • a particular relationship outcome will occur.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that applicable consumer law does not allow you to waive.

27. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of Steady Love products, infringement of another person's rights, unauthorized redistribution of copyrighted materials, or material violation of these Terms.

This provision does not require you to assume responsibility for Steady Love's own unlawful conduct.

28. Suspension or Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of:

  • fraud or unauthorized payment activity;

  • serious violations of these Terms;

  • unlawful use;

  • harassment or threats;

  • unauthorized redistribution of course materials;

  • security concerns; or

  • misuse that may harm other users or the platform.

Where appropriate, we may first provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

Termination for material misuse may affect eligibility for a refund where permitted by law.

29. Privacy

Your use of Steady Love is also governed by the Steady Love Privacy Policy.

Please review that policy to understand how personal information may be collected, used, stored, and shared.

The Privacy Policy and these Terms should be read together.

30. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as our courses, technology, policies, or legal obligations change.

Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date, and additional notice may be provided when appropriate.

Changes will not retroactively remove consumer rights already provided by applicable law or an existing purchase agreement.

31. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State of Utah], without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Any dispute regarding these Terms will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

I would have an attorney confirm this section before publishing it, particularly if Steady Love sells courses nationally or internationally.

32. Severability

If one provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

33. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Steady Love Privacy Policy, applicable product descriptions, refund policies, and any additional terms displayed at checkout, constitute the agreement governing your use of the applicable Steady Love educational products.
